AGAPE'S FISCAL SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM:
Social change organizations working that do not have tax-exempt
status with the IRS may apply to be fiscally sponsored by the Agape
Foundation. If accepted, their donors can make tax-deductible gifts
to Agape, which are then re-granted to the fiscally sponsored organization.
The organization must provide detailed reports to Agape on how the
funds were spent and Agape's Board of Trustees retains discretion
and control over the funds, ensuring that the fiscally sponsored
organization uses the funds to further its stated mission.
Agape accepts organizations located in the following states:
California, Delaware, Idaho, Iowa, Montana, Nebraska, Texas, Vermont
& Wyoming.
Agape does not provide fiscal sponsorship to organizations
that provide direct services to individuals. Please visit www.fiscalsponsordirectory.org
for information on direct service fiscal sponsors.
Please note: The Agape Foundation's Fiscal Sponsorship Program is currently full. We are not accepting new applications at this time. Please visit this page in June 2010 for updated information and guidelines.
